Configure your Salesforce Integration with Pearl Diver

By integrating Pearl Diver with Salesforce, businesses can leverage Pearl Diver’s lead intelligence to automatically enrich Salesforce contact profiles with detailed data insights. This allows sales and marketing teams to better segment their leads, prioritize high-value prospects, and create highly personalized outreach based on behavior and intent data, driving more effective engagement and improving conversion rates.

Prerequisites

Before you start configuring, make sure you have the following:
  1. A Salesforce account and valid login credentials
  2. Ensure at least one Pearl Diver audience is created: Ensure you have created the audience filter for the data you would like to send through the Salesforce integration, and this audience has the destination 'Salesforce' selected

Step 1: Enable Salesforce Integration

  1. Go to your Dashboard: Log in to your Pearl Diver account and navigate to the Dashboard.
  2. Under Destinations, select the Salesforce option
  3. Click the "Enable" button: This will initiate the process to set up the integration.

  1. Click “Authorize”: A prompt will appear to authorize the integration. 

Step 2. Authorize Salesforce Integration

  1. A new window will open where you can authorize the Salesforce integration.


The Pearl Diver integration asks permission to access the following scopes in Salesforce. This is so that the integration can create a Pearl Diver list to create and update Salesforce lead contacts against. The integration will never delete contacts.
  1. Manage user data via APIs (api): This permission is required to create and update lead contacts in Salesforce
  2. Perform requests at any time (refresh_token offline_access): This permission is required to continue creating and updating lead contacts in Salesforce after the first authorization. The integration sync can be disabled in the Pearl Diver application or in Salesforce at any time.
  3. Access the identity URL service (id profile email address phone): This permission is required by Salesforce for the authorization  

What Data Fields from Pearl Diver are default mapped with Salesforce

Default fields will be automatically mapped in Salesforce. Please note, all other Pearl Diver data fields will require custom mapping. which requires development assistance at this stage.  Please reach out to our support team via support@blackpearl.com for more information.
