Permanently Disconnect Your G Suite Account from Black Pearl Mail


What will you need to do?



If you wish to cancel your Black Pearl Mail subscription, you must disconnect your G Suite account from routing through the Black Pearl Mail platform beforehand.  

If you have any issues or questions during this process, please contact support@blackpearlmail.com. 

Once you have completed all the below steps, you will no longer be routing your emails through Black Pearl Mail.

STEP 1 – Login and go to Gmail Settings

1) Go to your Gmail Administrator settings: http://admin.google.com/


2) Click on the Apps icon.


3) Click on G Suite.


4) Click on Gmail.





STEP 2 – Remove Content Compliance Settings 

1) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Compliance


Note – if you cannot see the Compliance on the current page, you may need to click on Advanced Settings and scroll down to the Compliance section.


2) Scroll down to the Content Compliance section, and you should see a Black Pearl Compliance entry.


3) Hover your mouse over this entry and click Delete.


4) Click on Save at the bottom right hand corner of the page.






STEP 3 – Remove the Advanced Rules

1) Click on Settings for Gmail at the top of the page.




2) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Advanced Settings.




3) Scroll down to the Routing section of the page.




4) Find the SMTP Relay Service heading. There should be an entry under there called Black Pearl Relay




5) Hover you mouse over this section and click on Delete.





6) Click on Save in the bottom right hand corner of the page. 




STEP 4 – Remove the Mail Route

1) Click on Settings for Gmail at the top of the page.




2) Scroll down to and click on the Hosts section of the page.




3) Click on Delete next to the Black Pearl Mail entry.





Once you have completed all the above steps, you will no longer be routing through Black Pearl Mail. We strongly recommend you send a test email to a personal email address to ensure mail is functioning correctly. Please inform support@blackpearlmail.com so they can suspend your Black Pearl Mail account.
