Permanently Disconnect Your Office 365 Account from Black Pearl Mail


What will you need to do?

If you wish to cancel your Black Pearl Mail subscription, you must disconnect your Office 365 account from routing through the Black Pearl Mail platform beforehand.  


If you have any issues or questions during this process, please contact support@blackpearlmail.com. 

Once you have completed all the below steps, you will no longer be routing your emails through Black Pearl Mail.

STEP 1 – Login and go to Office 365 Mail Flow Settings

1) Open/go to the Office365 admin console - https://portal.office.com/adminportal


2) Click on Show all...



3) Click on Exchange.




4) Select Mail flow from the left-hand side menu.




STEP 2 – Remove Black Pearl Mail Rules 

In this section, we will be removing the rules responsible for routing through Black Pearl Mail. You may see multiple rules here, however, the only rules we are concerned with are Internal Bypass NEW and Black Pearl Mail NEW.


1) Click on Rules



2) Click on the  Internal Bypass NEW  rule to highlight it.



3) Once the rule is highlighted, click on the trash can icon on the menu above to delete the rule.



4) Click on Yes to confirm.



4) Click on the Black Pearl Mail NEW rule to highlight it.



5) Once the rule is highlighted, click on the trash can icon on the menu above to delete the rule.



6) Click on Yes to confirm.


STEP 3 – Remove Black Pearl Mail Connectors

In this section, we will be removing the connectors responsible for routing through Black Pearl Mail. You may see multiple connectors, however, the only connectors we are concerned with are Black Pearl Mail Inbound NEW and Black Pearl Mail Outbound NEW.


1) Click on Connectors.




2) Click on the Black Pearl Mail Inbound NEW connector to highlight it.



3) Once the connector is highlighted, click on the trash can icon on the menu above to delete the connector.



4) Click Yes to confirm.



5) Click on the Black Pearl Mail Outbound NEW connector to highlight it.



6) Once the connector is highlighted, click on the trash can icon on the menu above to delete the connector.



7) Click Yes to confirm.




Once you have completed all the above steps, you will no longer be routing through Black Pearl Mail. We strongly recommend you send a test email to a personal email address to ensure mail is functioning correctly. Please inform support@blackpearlmail.com so they can suspend your Black Pearl Mail account.
